Resolution or Steps

Logging Into Workday

1. Use this link or Go to cloud.microsoft.com and sign in to Microsoft 365. Find the Workday app in the list of apps and click it.

  • Employees: Use your login: starid@minnstate.edu and your STAR ID password.

2. Enter your starid@minnstate.edu and password

3. You will be prompted to use MFA using either your phone, office phone or the Microsoft Authenticator App

Third screen shows “Approve sign in request” with instructions to open the Authenticator app and enter the number shown, which is “93.” Additional links: “I can’t use my Microsoft Authenticator app right now” and “More information,” plus the same help desk text.

4. After successfully logging in, users will see the Workday Dashboard

Workday dashboard for Minnesota State Training appears once you are logged in. The top banner shows the Minnesota State logo and text “Minnesota State Training.” Below, the heading says “Let’s Get Started.”
