1. What is AnyConnect?  

Cisco AnyConnect is a Virtual Private Network that allows you to access Hennepin Tech internal resources (network drives, remote servers, etc.) over the Internet by securely encrypting your data that travels across between your computer and Hennepin Tech network. 

2. Why do I need AnyConnect? 

You will need to connect to AnyConnect if you are working remotely and need to access Hennepin Tech  internal resources (network drives, remote servers, etc.). When you’re disconnected from AnyConnect, you won’t be able to access any Hennepin Tech  internal resources.
