How to Disconnect from AnyConnect

Cisco AnyConnect VPN, Computer

Resolution or Steps

You won't be able to use Hennepin Tech internal resources like network drives (I,J,U drives) or remote servers if you are working remotely and not connected to AnyConnect. AnyConnect will automatically disconnect if your Wi-Fi or computer turns off. It will stay connected your computer is locked or in sleep mode. 

To Disconnect:

  1. .AnyConnect left-click on the Disconnect button. Now you’re disconnected from
  2. Left click on Cisco AnyConnect shortcut on your desktop to Disconnect:
