How to log into my Microsoft Office 365 account to access Web Mail

Resolution or Steps

1. Go to https://hennepintech.edu

2. Click myHennepinTech

3. Click on Email Login

4. Enter your StarID@go.minnstate.edu

5. Click Next

6. Enter your Star ID Password

7. Click Sign in

8. Choose your (Multi-Factor Authentication) Option (Text, Call or Multi-Factor Authentication Application)

9. If you choose Text, enter the code.

10. Click Verify

  • Phone or Multi-Factor Authentication Application will automatically verify through the phone or application.

11. Check the box next to “Don’t show this again”

12. Click Yes (This will limit the amount of times you need to verify through Multi-Factor Authentication)

  • Only Stay signed in on a device that is password protected.

13. Choose the Applications on the left side. Outlook is the app for email.

  • If you want to use other applications, such as One Drive to access your saved documents, Word, Excel, etc click on the application you would like to use.Microsoft 365 app launcher open within Outlook on the web, displaying a search box and application icons including Microsoft 365 Copilot, Outlook, OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, SharePoint, Teams, Sway, Learning Activities, and More apps.
