How to Submit Timesheet as a Student Worker

Resolution or Steps 

Student Workers must submit their timesheet No Later Than 3:00 p.m. on payday Fridays for the following pay period.

  1. Sign into eservices with your StarID and StarID Password, ensure you select Hennepin Technical College next to Institution.

 

“A login page titled ‘Please login to continue.’ Required fields are marked with an asterisk. The form contains fields labeled ‘StarID,’ ‘Password,’ and ‘Institution,’ with a dropdown set to ‘Hennepin Technical College.’ A checkbox option labeled ‘Display Name’ states that enabling it will keep the name visible until the next login. A blue ‘Login’ button appears below the fields. Links include ‘Need Login Help?’ and ‘Apply today to create your StarID.’ Text at the bottom advises logging out when finished.”

 

2. Select Student Employment

“A left‑side menu titled ‘Student e‑services’ listing the options: Dashboard, Home, Account Management, Courses & Registration, Academic Records, Financial Aid, Bills and Payment, Student Employment, and Contact Us. The ‘Student Employment’ menu item is outlined with a red box.”

3. Select Enter Time Worked

4. Ensure you are in the right pay period. Select Add Time

Below, a ‘Pay Period Data’ section lists two date ranges with totals of 0.00 hours. 5. Using the drop down arrow select the Date, Start Time, and End Time.

6. Select Add Time

The form displays required fields for Date, Start Time, and End Time, with values set to Monday, May 7; 7:00 AM; and 7:15 AM, respectively. A blank Comments box appears below. At the bottom of the form, the blue ‘Add Time’ button is outlined with a red box, next to a gray ‘Cancel’ button.”

7. Submit Time

  • Ensure all the time you worked is shown.
  • Click the tiny box to certify the hours reported are correct and that you have fulfilled your job obligations.
  • Click Submit Time

Note: You can view the scheduled Payment Date
