How to Backup Your Files in the Desktop, Documents, and Pictures Folders to OneDrive

Resolution or Steps 

1. Click on the Carat next to the time on your task bar.

2. Click on the Cloud, to open OneDrive

** Use your StarID@minnstate.edu and password to login**

3. Click on the Gear, on the top, right side of the pop-up screen.

4.  Click on Settings.

5.  Click Manage Backup

6.  Click Save Changes and OneDrive Will Backup Your Files

  • Make sure that Desktop, Documents and Pictures are selected.

  • These will be the 3 folders that would automatically backup to the OneDrive.
