How do I reset my Voicemail Pin?

Resolution or Steps

1.  Open a web browser and go to https://settings.webex.com

2.  Log in with your StarID@minnstate.edu

  • If this is your first time logging into https://settings.webex.com, you will need to enter your StarID Password and Multifactor authenticator.

"Webex User Hub Settings page. Left sidebar shows Profile, Settings (highlighted), Meetings, and Recordings. Main section titled Settings with tabs: Meetings, Calling (highlighted), and Devices. Sub-tabs include Call settings, Schedules, Voicemail (highlighted), and Contacts. Below are Voicemail inbox with button 'Manage voicemails' and text 'You have 0 unheard messages,' and Voicemail PIN with button 'Reset voicemail PIN.

3. Once logged in, Click on “Settings” in the Left-hand column, then click the “Calling” tab

4.  Click on Reset Voicemail Pin

5.  Enter a New Voicemail Pin and Confirm Voicemail Pin

Pin Requirement: 

  • Must contain 6-30 digits (Numbers)

Must Not Contain

  • Repeated patterns
  • Your phone number or extension
  • The reverse of your phone number or extension
  • Last 10 Voicemail Pins
  • The reverse of your old Pin
  • The same digit 4 times in a row
  • 4 Ascending digits or 4 Descending digits

 

Reset Voicemail PIN dialog in Cisco Webex settings. Two input fields labeled 'New voicemail PIN' and 'Confirm voicemail PIN,' both marked 'Numbers ONLY.' Right side lists PIN requirements: Must contain 6–30 digits; Must not contain repeated patterns, your phone number or extension, the reverse of your phone number or extension, last 10 voicemail PINs, same digit 6 times in a row, ascending digits or descending digits. Bottom has two buttons: Cancel and Save (Save is highlighted)

6.  Click Save
