What is the Software Center and where can I find it?

Resolution or Steps
Software Center is a depository of software you can install while on campus or through a VPN connected to HTC Network. Software Center is loaded on all HTC computers. Follow the below steps to find and access Software Center.
- Click on the Search Icon in the lower left hand corner of your taskbar.
- Start typing Software Center. (You may only need to type a few letters, like soft)
- Click on Software Center when it is listed.
Software Center will open up and should look like:
- If Software Center has a blue banner instead of an orange banner, please contact the Service Desk.
To install software
1. Click on the software you would like to install.
- This will open another window.
2. Click Install
**Please make sure you are either on HTC Campus or using a VPN to access HTC network.
