How do I set up my Voice mail settings?

Resolution or Steps
1. Open a web browser and go to https://settings.webex.com
2. Log in with your StarID@minnstate.edu
- If this is your first time logging into https://settings.webex.com, you will need to enter your StarID Password and multifactor authenticator.
3. Click on Settings on the left menu, click Calling, then click Voicemail and then click Reset voicemail pin.

- You can also set when you would like to send callers to your voicemail.
- For example, you may want to send all calls to voicemail when you know you’re going to be out of the office and not taking phone calls.

Below are options you can choose for your Voicemail settings.
Not all of these items need to be filled in.
- To change how you receive your Voicemail messages and Notifications when you get messages are shown below.

Turn on Notifications
Check Receive voicemail notifications
- To receive email notifications > select the radial button and enter the email address to send notifications to
- To receive text message notifications > select the radial button Text message when new voicemail messages are received.
- enter the phone number and service provider.

Press '0' to Transfer to:
- You can allow callers to press 0 and be transferred to another phone number, of your choosing, when they reach your voicemail greeting.
- If this feature is enabled, be sure to record your voicemail greeting with the appropriate guidance for the caller. For example, “To reach my assistant, press 0.”

Greetings
- Set the number of rings you'd like callers to hear before they hear your voicemail greeting.
- Choose your busy greeting from the drop-down menu next to If busy use greeting from:
- Default- This plays the system default greeting.
- Custom- If this option is selected, choose the .wav file to upload.
- Greetings can be recorded by dialing the Voice Portal (pressing the message button on your IP phone) and entering the Voice Portal password.
- Choose your no-answer greeting from the drop-down menu next to If unanswered use greeting from:
- Default- This plays the system default greeting.
- Custom- If this option is selected, choose the .wav file to upload.
- Greetings can be recorded by dialing the Voice Portal (pressing the message button on your IP phone) and entering the Voice Portal password.
- Click Save.
