How to remove Fireflies.ai from your Microsoft Teams or Zoom meetings

Resolution or Steps 

To remove Fireflies.ai from your Microsoft Teams or Zoom meetings and potentially your account, you'll need to take a few steps. First, disconnect Fireflies.ai from your meetings through the Fireflies.ai settings page. Then, you can permanently delete your Fireflies account and all associated data if desired. 

Removing Fireflies.ai : 

1.  Access Fireflies settings:

   Go to the Fireflies.ai settings page (https://app.fireflies.ai/settings). 

2. Disconnect from meetings:

   Scroll to the bottom and click on the "Disconnect" or similar button to remove Fireflies from your Teams meetings. 

3. Revoke permissions:

   If you've previously blocked Fireflies as an admin in Teams, ensure there are no lingering permissions or integrations that need to be revoked. 

Review Teams admin center:

If the issue persists, check your Microsoft Teams admin center for any additional settings related to Fireflies. 

Deleting Your Fireflies.ai Account:

1. Go to Account Settings: Open the Fireflies web app and navigate to Settings > Account Settings. 
2. Initiate deletion: Scroll down to the "Delete Account" section and click "Delete my account". 
3. Provide feedback (optional): A pop-up window will appear asking for your reason for leaving. You can optionally provide feedback. 
4. Confirm deletion: A confirmation prompt will appear. Click "Delete Account" to proceed. 
5. Deletion confirmation: You'll see a message indicating that your deletion request has been submitted.
