Resolution or Steps 

Please Note: If the system is a Hennepin Technical College owned workstation it should be configured automatically and you do not need to follow these instructions.

  1. From the Windows 11 Desktop, click on the WiFi/network icon in the lower right corner of your screen
  2. Click on the > icon to the right of the Wi-Fi icon.

  1. From the list of available networks, select eduroam and select the checkbox Connect Automatically and click Connect.
  2. Use your starID-based user name (in the format below) and starID password.

Employee User Name:

  • StarID@hennepintech.edu (or)
  • StarID@minnstate.edu

Student User Name:

  • StarID@my.hennepintech.edu (or)
  • StarID@go.minnstate.edu
  1. Then click Ok.
  2. Once authenticated, you will be connected to the eduroam WiFi network.

Resources

Students and stuff should not have to use the instruction here if you are using a Hennepin Tech provided laptop. If it prompts you for password, please report to the Information Technology Help desk by submitting a ticket here.
